On November 16, 2025, YUSHUNXIN received an inquiry from an Uganda’s fertilizer producer who planned to build a 200 tons/day fertilizer plant. The customer wanted a physical mixing system to produce nitrophos NPK fertilizer using urea, DAP, nitrophos, and phosphate as raw materials. After technical communication, our engineers designed a 10 tons/hour mixed fertilizer plant project based on the customer’s production plan of two shifts per day and 10 hours per shift.

Automatic Batching System for Accurate Raw Material Ratio

The customer from Uganda required an automatic dosing system to ensure accurate raw material ratios. To meet this demand, YUSHUNXIN recommended a multi-bin automatic batching system.

The system includes several raw material bins, weighing sensors, and an intelligent control panel. Operators can set the fertilizer formula directly in the control system. The equipment then feeds each material according to the preset ratio. The batching accuracy reaches ±0.5%, which helps maintain stable fertilizer nutrient content. This design also allows the Uganda’s customer to change fertilizer formulas quickly when market demand changes.

The total investment for this mixed fertilizer plant project of Uganda is $114,432, which includes the main mixing equipment, automatic batching system, coating machine, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment.

For this plant, YUSHUNXIN selected a 1.5 × 6 m rotary drum mixer. This machine provides gentle but efficient mixing, which allows the raw materials to blend evenly without damaging fertilizer particles. The drum mixer works together with the batching system, coating machine, and packaging equipment to form a complete production line.
