The Basic Background of the Sri Lanka Fertilizer Project

The Sri Lankan customer planned to produce commercial NPK fertilizer. The main requirements of materials, capacity, final fertilizer type, etc are as follows.

In terms of raw materials, including DAP (Diammonium Phosphate), MOP (Potassium Chloride), Urea, and SOA (Ammonium Sulfate). These materials are widely available in the local fertilizer supply chain, which helps reduce raw material costs. The planned production capacity was 15 tons per hour, which is suitable for medium-scale commercial fertilizer distribution. At the initial stage, the customer planned to produce NPK 20-10-10 fertilizer. Four-bin automatic batching system

The four-bin automatic batching machine allows the plant to store the main fertilizer materials separately. The system uses weighing sensors and a control cabinet to measure each raw material accurately before mixing. This design can help the customer from Sri Lanka maintain consistent fertilizer formulas and reduce manual operation.
